Heavy Equipment Laborer/Operator

Mckernan Enterprises is seeking a skilled team member, we are a Central Oregon based excavation company that is seeking a career minded knowledgeable team member!

This position offers an opportunity to gain experience, expand training and knowledge at all levels of the trade. Installation of mainline pipe, utility’s, general labor tasks will be the primary focus of the position. Candidates will have opportunity operate off-road trucks, water trucks and other equipment.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated person! Applicants can expect to be involved with pipe laying, utility installation, compaction equipment and general laboring. Our ideal candidate would have experience and be familiar with mainline pipe installation and be familiar with residential (subdivisions) land development and public utility work.

The qualified applicant will be expected to work full time with optional and sometimes needed overtime with limited Saturday work on various projects. Project types vary from some public/prevailing wage to site development/infrastructure/commercial work. Applicant would be on different projects in the central Oregon region! Experience, attitude and flexibility will be key considerations for the position. Please read thru the qualifications below.
